Placing Installation Requests:


Sign Post Installation Requests can be placed anytime 24/7 by using our Online Ordering System. Work Orders take just a few minutes to complete with Credit Card required online to confirm. This system is completely secure and does not allow us access to any of your payment information.


If you are interested in keeping your payment information on file with us for a slightly quicker ordering process, please reach out to us regarding an Automatic Billing Application.



When Will My Post Be Installed:


Sign Post Installations can be scheduled as far in advance as you would like through our Online Ordering System. For ASAP requests, please find below approximate "turn around times" for each city...


Langley, Aldergrove, Surrey, White Rock, Abbotsford: Next Business Day (limited same day)


Chilliwack, Mission, Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows, Port Coquitlam, Coquitlam, Port Moody, Burnaby, New Westminster, North Delta: 1-2 Business Days


Chilliwack Lake, Agassiz, Harrison Hot Springs, Harrison Mills, Lake Errock, Deroche, Ladner, Tsawwassen, Richmond, Vancouver, North Vancouver, West Vancouver, Anmore: 1-3 Business Days



Placing Removal Requests:


Removal Requests can be placed anytime 24/7 by either using the same Online Ordering System, by email to info@signpostguys.ca, or by text message to 604-220-8481. It is most important that the removal request is communicated to us in some way!


For SOLD properties, we highly recommend scheduling your post removal as soon as you have a confirmed completion date for your sale. We offer our clients the ability to schedule their sign post removal as far in advance as they would like. To avoid charges for unsuccessful removal trips, please advise your client to leave the sign post installed in the ground, or readily available to us near the front of the property, for collection on your removal date.


Whether you are scheduling a removal in advance, or placing an ASAP requests closer to your completion date, we do not recommend leaving your post installed beyond your completion date for any reason. Posts left on site after new ownership has taken possession are significantly more likely to be damaged or lost, triggering charges to replace them.


If your listing has been CANCELLED, once we receive your ASAP removal request, we are able to remove the vast majority of posts within 24-48 hours, and sometimes sooner. To avoid charges for unsuccessful removal trips, please advise your client to leave the sign post installed in the ground, or readily available to us near the front of the property for collection. It will not be there long!



How to Deal with Lost or Damaged Items:


Although it is a rare occurrence, when you rent a sign post from The Sign Post Guys, you are financially responsible for the post should it go missing or be damaged beyond use. If you are aware your sign post has been lost or damaged, please report it to The Sign Post Guys ASAP, we offer discounts up to 50% on lost or damaged items that have been reported in advance.



Can I Transfer My Sign Post to a New Listing:


Unfortunately, sign post rentals are non-transferable to new listings or to other realtors. Our pricing is set on a per-listing basis. While we may not be able to transfer your old post to that new listing just a few minutes away, your new sign post will always be freshly painted and will come with a fresh 6-month rental term for your new listing!



Can I Extend My Sign Post Rental Beyond 6-Months:


Absolutely! We offer 3-month and 6-month rental term extensions. Should your included 6-month term expire, you will receive an email notice 4-5 days prior to expiry giving you the two options and a payment portal to extend your rental term. We are not able to offer month-by-month extensions at this time, although if you need to keep the post for just 2-3 extra weeks, that is generally no problem, just let us know!
